Sasha Vane writes dark romance where power is real, consent is negotiated on the page, and nobody is rescued who does not fight for it first.

When she is not writing she is awake anyway: black coffee after midnight, vinyl B sides, old noir films with the sound turned low, and the occasional afternoon in a restoration studio watching someone lift a century of varnish off a painting. She collects antique keys to doors she has never found.
